The Body Shop

Greetings All,

Today I wanted to show you a wee Body Shop haul I picked up on Saturday. I also have to add that my phone contract is with o2, I downloaded their priority app and I’m so glad I did. Offers galore!!
Which brings me back to when I was in Belfast on Saturday and went into The Body Shop to take advantage of their 30% discount within the priority app.

I am and will always be a fan of their White Musk perfume (£17). I adore it and go through it rightly so that was the 1st thing I picked up. Next, I spied the Coconut Oil (£7) for my hair, it smells lovely so I’m looking forward to trying it, I’ll have a wee review up on that soon, so keep your eyes peeled.  Lastly I got the Vitamin E Essentials Kit (£11) for a present which has a mini toner, cleanser, moisturiser and a night cream all in a dainty little bag making it perfect for travel.
I was checking the Priority app again today and see The Body Shop is back on it, except now with a whopping 40% discount!! Making now the perfect time to buy any Christmas presents and take advantage of nearly half price.

Thanks for stopping by! ♡

Help Big Up Flat Hair!

HellO All!

I *LoVe* going to the hairdressers, getting my hair washed is the best bit, I could fall off to sleep everytime, it’s so relaxing!  But after it’s been cut, dried & straightened what then?

I’m left with the flatest hair in the world, that’s what!
I don’t like washing my hair too much,  I don’t need to.  Wash & a deep condition twice a week is my routine.

But I find after I’ve been to the hairdressers I’ve to wash it asap so I can put a bit of volume back into it.  Which negates getting it washed there in the first place.
So what do I do?

Salt Spray is what!
I bought this one aaaaaages ago.  I think it was 2 for £5 in Superdrug.  It lasts a while as you really don’t need a lot.

AnyhoO, this is my saving grace after I’ve been to the hairdressers.  I get to keep the sleek blowdry look that I’ll never be able to do myself for another few days except with some volume.

Are you a fan of salt sprays?  Or if you’ve any tips on how to big up flat hair comment below & share your knowledge.

As always, thats a million for reading.

~ LoVe & huGs to you all ~

& have a great weekend!

Beauty Fashion Friday

HellO there all you cool cats,

Well another month has flown by so that means it’s time for another Beauty Fashion Friday!! *eEp* Excited!!! ☺

The lovely Céara is our guest today.
Remember if you want to be featured next month check out the super simple instructions at the end.
But right now, it’s over to Miss Céara with some top tips . . .

* Who inspires your style?
Honestly, no stars or celebs!  I think the best styled people are walking down the street or going about their day.  Celebs & stars are treated like a hanger, they don’t OWN the stuff they’re wearing.  People who walk into a shop & make their own outfit?! I copy them!

* What’s your favourite piece of clothing/ accessories?
(or both)
String tops I wear them everyday! They’re so handy & easy to accessorise with, my other would be my beautiful black platform shoes, they make you skinny from the top of your head to the tips of your toes. High heels makes every girl feel better right?

* Where do you like to shop?
PRIMARK!  I should take out shares in the place.  So affordable & some really cool stuff.  When I’m feeling a little richer I hit River Island & temporarily bankrupt myself for the rest of the month always opting for a matching bag & purse, then have nothing to put in the purse!

*If money wasn’t an option & you could buy any beauty item tomorrow what would it be & why?
Make up! & more make up! obviously some surgery too, that’s classed as beauty item isnt it?

* Do you have a certain style & how would you describe it?
I really don’t have a certain style.  I just know with my body shape what’s best for me to wear (I’m a curvy girl) I play it pretty safe with skinnys, string top & cardi or shirt. You’ll also see me with trackies, they’re so comfy.

* What’s your daily beauty & makeup routine?
I cleanse, tone & moisturise every night & exfoliate twice a week.  I’m loving the brand Eucerin atm, I’ve terrible break outs & I’ve found it helps to nip it in the bud.
My exfoliator is No.7 Micro Dermabrasion, it makes my skin feels amazing! Make up routine, I’ve only two rules. 1. prime before & 2. have fun with it!

* What’s your favourite beauty product/ products?
My favourite beauty products atm are Illamasqua Rich Liquid Foundation.  It hides everything I hate but doesn’t make me feel caked or cause me break outs.  Also, eyeliner & mascara.  Make up isn’t complete without these two!

* Do you’ve any beauty tips or tricks?
Clean your make up brushes with baby shampoo, it works a treat.  It’s gentle on the bristles & pulls all the yucky make up out.  Got a liquid eyeliner, lip gloss or any liquidy make up product thats run out yet you’ve gone to River Island & bankrupted yourself so can’t afford another yet?  Well then boil a kettle, get the hot water in a cup & set your product in & wait 5 mins. At least another couple applications to get you through to payday!

* What’s been your worst fashion, beauty or hair disaster? (Or all)
When I thought popper tracksuit bottoms where amazing, and my matching tracksuit with my nike airs! When I got a weave put in badly & when it was removed. Worst. Day. Ever!

* Name a blog you read that you’d recommend to us?
Pixiwoo, the creators of the Real techniques brushes.  Two sisters, pro make up artists who recreate looks, giving tips & tricks etc. I love watching their vlogs!

Essentials Kit

HellO there!

I was over on the lovely the other day & seen her “Whats in my bag” tag. One of the items she mentioned really jumped out at me. It was a small makeup type bag that held all the things that I, & I feel fairly confident here naming & shaming all of YOU have swimming about in the bottom of our bags.

Why have we never thought of putting it all in a purse or small bag!?
Or, is this a thing & I’m lagging behind, again!

Either way this is my new favourite discovery & I’ve taken to putting together my “Essentials Kit” (yes, I’ve named it) with gusto.

What are we going to put in it?
I wrote down the things I *AlwAyS* forget when I leave the house then end up having to buy again.

*Dental Floss *Antibac Lotion *Gum *Tissues *Heartburn Tablets *Antihistamines * Paracetamol *Tampons *Hair Clips & *Hair Ties *Lip balm *Pen *Eye Drops *Nail File *Plasters *Hand Cream *Hand Wipes

I found this idea so refreshing, knowing all the things I need & use daily are in there & I’ll never have to repurchase another lipbalm for the 10th time because I’ve forgotten my original one at home again.
I’m also prone to allergies & there’s mornings I wake grand then when I’m an hour away from home I turn into a sneezey watery eyed mess, this way when it happens everything I need is right there for me. I’m so enthusiastic about this to the point I’m secretly hoping someone will ask me for something out of it, if you see me in the street please don’t hesitate, if you need any of the above I’ll sort you out. You could also add your staple makeup items that you like to have on you for touchups. Then just pop this into whatever bag you take. You know you best & what your go to bits & bobs are so have fun customising your own wee kit.

Let me know if I’ve forgotten something really obvious & if you try this out then come back & tell me what you’ve put in yours.

Thanks so much for stopping by my little part of the blogosphere.
